We would like to express our sincere condolences to those who lost their lives in the earthquake that struck southern Turkey and northwestern Syria on February 6, 2023. We also wish those who have been affected by the disaster a speedy recovery.
Kobelco Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (or KCM) has donated 13 container houses worth 50,000 euros to disaster-affected Hatay Province and Kahramanmaraş Province through its Turkish dealer HASEL as a disaster relief for the Turkey-Syria earthquake.
The Kobelco Group, including KCM, received so much support when we suffered significant damage when a massive earthquake struck the Hanshin and Awaji regions in 1995. To repay the favor, we will consider providing further aid while continuing to pay close attention to the situation in the disaster-affected areas.
All our hearts are with the people affected by the disaster, and we sincerely wish them a speedy recovery.
